Job Description:

We’re looking for a Skilled Operative to join our team at our site in Wednesbury. As a Skilled Operative you will be working as part of the Production Team, conducting checks, documenting and recording against company procedures to legal compliance in food manufacturing at site.

Job Responsibility:

Carrying our finished product weight checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance
Carrying out label checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance
Setting up printers including date coding on pack, correctly for each product run, against customer guidelines
Maintain traceability of ingredients, raw material and finished product to ensure product due diligence
Stock control enforcement, including managing fixed and WIP stock, reviewing paperwork and identifying any close to use by and out of use by material, to report to Section Manager
Carrying out product temperature checks against a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance and due diligence
Check QUID values against declared, on a scheduled frequency to ensure legal compliance
Record all rework reasons for report produced by Production Manager

Requirements:

A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
Good attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks
Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
