You'll bring your expertise in Highways to carry out a variety of essential tasks including: Pothole repairs; Excavation works; Laying & levelling kerbs, slabs and bitumen macadam; Drainage and gully installations. Job Responsibility

  • Carry out a variety of essential tasks including: Pothole repairs
  • Excavation works
  • Laying & levelling kerbs, slabs and bitumen macadam
  • Drainage and gully installations
  • Operate and maintain plant equipment
  • Install traffic managements
  • Support emergency call outs and winter operations

Requirements

  • Clean driving License
  • A commitment to Health and Safety- it's at the heart of everything we do!
  • Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to carry out manual work outdoors, in all weather conditions
  • CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • NRSWA qualification (or willingness to obtain)

Nice to have

HGV Class C driving licence is highly desirable (or demonstrate ability to obtain one)

  • Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports and KPIs
  • Record data on various databases and spreadsheets to meet the National Highways Audit requirements

  • Assist with logging, closing and compiling information & data for Customer Contact Centre enquiries and claims
