Job Description

The Skilled Facilities Administrator plays a crucial role in managing maintenance and repairs within the organization, ensuring compliance with service agreements and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in facilities management and a good understanding of health and safety practices are essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Checks that all maintenance and repairs requests received within the office environment and related buildings are carried out in line with the service level agreement
  • Provides support with the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities
  • Checks that daily building inspections and ensures that all work undertaken conforms to the Health and Safety Act
  • Documents and reports on in progress, new and/or completed maintenance, and repair requests to management
  • Coordinates routine maintenance and repairs schedule
  • Provides support with ensuring that the tasks are completed according to the schedule and update and maintain the maintenance database
  • Ensures that buildings, offices and equipment are maintained to the required standards and that service levels are met
  • Provides support to ensure that all office facilities, tools, equipment, and stock (office consumable) levels are maintained and securely stored
  • Liaises with all internal and external stakeholders including building services management, security, and access control and cleaning staff
  • Escalates non-performance of internal and external stakeholders to the management
  • Checks all contractor documentation and maintain records such as permits, leases and correspondence on behalf of the business
  • Performs any other relevant tasks as required by management
