We are seeking a Provider Relations Representative to support Medicaid program operations through direct engagement with healthcare providers across the Dallas territory. This role combines remote work with extensive field-based responsibilities, focusing on provider education, compliance, and relationship management. The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, comfortable working independently, and experienced in provider-facing or healthcare support environments, with strong knowledge of Medicaid programs and policies.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled in-person visits with healthcare providers within the assigned territory
Educate providers on Medicaid policies, procedures, and available resources
Ensure provider compliance with program requirements and identify areas for improvement
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with provider offices and stakeholders
Independently manage a designated territory using internal reporting tools and systems
Plan and organize daily travel schedules to maximize efficiency and coverage
Track activities, document visits, and maintain accurate records of provider interactions
Monitor personal performance metrics and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support adherence to contractual and program guidelines
Utilize internal systems and reports to monitor compliance and performance
Participate in remote team meetings, trainings, and cross-functional initiatives
Partner with internal teams to address provider concerns and improve service delivery
Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
Experience in a provider-facing, healthcare support, or Medicaid-related role
Strong knowledge of State Medicaid programs and provider policies
Proven ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong time management and territory organization skills
Experience with travel and expense reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and document management tools
Ability to utilize reporting systems and internal applications effectively
Must reside locally within the Dallas, TX area
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel extensively
Ability to manage a daily travel schedule with significant driving requirements
