Job Description

Site Supervisors manage electricity distribution projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. They oversee multiple sites, supervise contractors, and carry out regular inspections. Projects range from small network extensions to major substations, overhead lines, and underground cables.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure distribution projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification, compliant with legislation and network standards
  • Oversee work delivered by direct labour, 3rd-party contractors, or ICPs
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring contractors follow health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Carry out regular site safety and quality inspections
  • Supervise multiple sites while attending office meetings and reporting to a nominated base location

Requirements

  • Experience in electricity distribution, transmission with the ability to supervise multiple sites and contractors, ensuring work is delivered safely and to specification
  • Understanding of health & safety legislation, environmental standards, and ESQCR regulations
  • ONC/City & Guilds/BTEC for Junior, IOSH/NEBOSH advantageous
