As a Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, leading crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. You will play a key role in ensuring that the Company’s core values – Excellence, People, Integrity, Innovation, and Collaboration – are consistently upheld by the teams within your area.
Job Responsibility:
Lead daily pre-starts, risk assessments, and safety checks
Plan and sequence work to meet project timelines and budgets
Monitor productivity, material usage, and workmanship quality
Coordinate plant, suppliers, and subcontractors
Provide leadership, coaching, and support to site teams
Foster a strong culture of safety by actively ensuring the reporting of all incidents, injuries, near misses, and events in a timely manner within your teams
Maintain accurate site records and report progress
Engage positively with clients, landowners, and the public
Requirements:
Proven experience supervising civil construction projects
Proven experience in supervising pavements and/or drainage (three waters) projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Competence in managing subcontractors and suppliers
Comfortable using mobile apps and reporting systems
The availability to work on projects outside the region on occasion
Site Safe Supervisor (or similar)
Trades Qualification (level 4 or higher), e.g. Drainlaying / Infrastructure or similar
