Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee plot works and groundworks for a residential development in Darlington. This is a key role for a civils-focused supervisor who understands the pace and precision required for housing infrastructure.

Job Responsibility

  • Overseeing the delivery of foundations, floor slabs, and external drainage for residential plots
  • Leading site inductions, conducting daily toolbox talks, and ensuring strict adherence to RAMS
  • Managing various trades to ensure plot completions stay on schedule
  • Inspecting workmanship to ensure all civils work meets client and regulatory specifications
  • Maintaining site diaries and providing progress updates to the Site Manager

Requirements

  • Proven background in residential civils, specifically plot works (foundations, slabs, and drainage)
  • Valid SSSTS (or SMSTS) and a CSCS Gold Card (Supervisor)
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate
  • Strong leadership
  • ability to read technical drawings
  • excellent communication skills
