We are recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of utility diversion works within a major infrastructure programme. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a supervisor with a strong background in utilities construction and site delivery, working as part of a Tier 1 contracting environment on a nationally significant project. As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of utility diversion works, ensuring site operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements. This is a hands-on supervisory position requiring practical site leadership rather than purely administrative oversight. You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supporting delivery teams, maintaining programme momentum, and working closely with commercial and planning functions. You will be expected to be onsite and available in supporting office coordination activities five days per week.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations for utility diversion works
Support the delivery of weekly programmes and drive adherence to project milestones
Oversee site teams and contractors to ensure safe and efficient working practices
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, commercial teams, and delivery personnel
Monitor site progress and report performance updates where required
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health, safety, and infrastructure compliance standards
Assist in maintaining site documentation and quality control records
Requirements:
Previous experience operating at Site Supervisor level or equivalent within the utilities or infrastructure sector
Experience across at least two of the following utility diversion disciplines – water, gas, or communications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting organisations
Strong knowledge of site-based health and safety standards
Valid CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and First Aid qualification are essential
