Job Description:

Our client is a trusted family-run utility infrastructure business with over 30 years’ experience delivering turnkey water, gas, and power solutions across the South and Southeast. Partnering with major utility providers such as Affinity Water, Essex & Suffolk Water, and UK Power Networks, they specialise in repair & maintenance, smart meter installations, and bespoke civils projects. We are seeking a Site Supervisor who will play a key role in supervising site activities, ensuring all work is delivered to a high standard of safety, quality, and compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise daily smart metering installation activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance
  • Enforce Health & Safety standards, including NRSWA, and maintain strict site compliance
  • Monitor work quality through audits/inspections and resolve non-conformances
  • Coordinate with managers, planners, and engineers on site setups, traffic management, and reinstatement
  • Act as site contact for customers, handling queries and access issues
  • Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and support field teams
  • Keep accurate site records, safety checks, and progress reports, including incidents or near misses

Requirements:

  • NRSWA Supervisor Units (Essential – Must be valid)
  • EUSR Water Hygiene Card (Essential – Must be valid)
  • Experience supervising street works, utility or metering teams
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practices in utility environments
