Job Description:

A leading civil engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on a major highway construction project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a project that will enhance the region's transportation network and contribute to its economic development.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and supervise a team of skilled workers and subcontractors, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction activities on the highway project
Maintain high standards of quality and productivity, adhering to project specifications, drawings, and all relevant regulations
Oversee a variety of construction tasks, including earthworks, drainage, surfacing, and utility installation
Coordinate with project management, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress
Champion safety on the project, actively promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring the highest safety standards are consistently met
Contribute to the successful completion of the project, meeting deadlines and achieving the highest quality standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on earthworks highway projects
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant health and safety standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing a team and collaborating with stakeholders
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving project goals on time and within budget
A strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards
