An exiiting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Cardiff area. This is a stable and growing business with ambitious development and progression plans in place. The company services and sells its products worldwide and is involved in a range of innovative and exciting ongoing projects. This role will have aspects of UK & European travel.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct site visits (home and abroad) and perform remedial work as per customer requests and agreed method statements
  • Ensure compliance with all site health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Complete and submit site visit reports via the online management system, obtaining customer approval
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow safe working practices
  • Report accidents, near misses, and any safety concerns in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist the production team with tasks that align with your training and expertise when required
  • Support the IQC team with product testing and installations
  • Participate in training to maintain compliance with site demands and legislative requirements
  • Suggest improvements to plant, equipment, or processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Relevant carpentry, technical or engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Practical experience in a similar role may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
  • Holder of a Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
