Job Responsibility:
Manage all quantity surveying activities for Early Infrastructure Works (EIW) and Network Pipelines (NWP), ensuring accurate measurement and valuation of works
Provide cost management support, including estimation, budgeting, and cost control, to maintain financial oversight of site operations
Collaborate with contractors and site teams to verify quantities and costs, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and project requirements
Support project management by providing timely and accurate cost reports and financial forecasts
Promote a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture by ensuring that all quantity surveying activities are performed safely and in compliance with the company’s HSE standards
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify completed works against submitted quantities
Prepare and maintain detailed records of all measurements, valuations, and variations
Verify and approve contractors’ interim and final payment applications
Monitor and report on cost variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain budget adherence
Support the preparation and negotiation of claims, variations, and change orders
Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and budgets for ongoing and future site activities
Maintain detailed project documentation, including cost reports, bills of quantities (BOQs), and payment records
Provide support in the development of lessons learned for cost management and control
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years in quantity surveying roles, preferably in Oil and Gas projects
At least 3 years managing quantity surveying activities in large-scale infrastructure or pipeline projects
Strong knowledge of quantity surveying techniques and cost management tools
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing BOQs, cost estimates, and payment records
Familiarity with contractual terms and conditions related to construction projects
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
Fluency in English
Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
