Site Quality Lead

• Serves as a key member of the Wind Farm Site leadership team
• Serves as the Site Manager contact on all quality issues
• Serves as on-site subject matter expert regarding Nordex IMS
• Prepares reports summarizing the status of all quality issues
• Ensures tools and equipment are accounted for
• Ensures all on-site quality personnel perform duties following standards
• Monitors the project plan and rotation schedule
• Monitors/reports on quality inspector attendance and performance
• Oversees the administration of all quality processes
• Follows up all open actions
• Leads by example and enforces safety and quality standards
• Manages Site NCRs
• Tracks, coordinated & performs 1st article audits
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Degree in technical or engineering field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience preferred
• Bilingual in French and English
• Experience in quality management/quality control processes
• Demonstrated small group leadership abilities
• Ability to successfully interact with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers
• Analytical skills
• Wind Turbine Assembly experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage several activities at once
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS office applications
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English effectively
• Strong ability to read, interpret and understand drawings and schematics
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb stairs, etc.
• Ability to climb to heights of 60 to 100 meters
• 90-100% travel required
• Ability to work in Canada with no Company sponsorship
• Must possess a full valid driver’s license
• Ability to successfully complete all Canadian regulatory laws surrounding pre-employment screening requirements
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
