Job Description:

We are looking for a Site Process Area Construction Lead for one of our clients. Location: Basrah, Iraq. Scheme: Rotational 28 days ON / 28 days OFF. Start: April 2026. Duration: 24 months, extendable.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure that CPY Policies, rules, guidelines and procedure are enforced at Site
  • Ensure short/medium term monitoring of Contractors activities under his area of supervision up to pre-commissioning
  • Provide continuous, reliable and relevant reporting to the upper management
  • Be continuously aware of what information and decision have respectively to be shared with or made by the upper management
  • Be exemplary when it comes to H3SE, engagement with Stakeholders and ethics matters. Make sure that other CPY Site team members behave in the same way

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in electrical and instrumentation disciplines
  • Minimum 10-15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Heavy industries with similar large scale projects and context in Contract, Engineering and Construction activities for Onshore (or Onshore yards) projects
  • Proven track records of several successful assignments on similar site positions
  • Broad and versatile (disciplines wise) technical experience across all aspects of major Surface Facilities project development
  • Sound knowledge and experience in Engineering and Project Control for Onshore and Nearshore projects is considered a plus
  • Vast and concrete knowledge of monitoring of large Oil & Gas EPC Contractors at site
