Job Description

We are looking for a Site Planning & Reporting Engineer for one of our clients with the following details: Location: Basra, Iraq Work Scheme: Rotational, 28 days ON / 28 days OFF Start: June 2026 Duration: 24 months, extendable

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain detailed site schedules and reports for Early Infrastructure Works (EIW) and Network Pipelines (NWP) to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives
  • Collaborate with site and engineering teams to monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of site activities to project stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, including H3SE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) and quality management guidelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years in planning and reporting roles, preferably in Oil and Gas projects
  • At least 3 years in a similar role involving detailed planning and reporting for large-scale projects
  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and reporting software
  • Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and risk identification
  • Knowledge of earned value management techniques
  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Fluency in English
  • knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
