The Site Occupational Health Nurse Specialist at P&G Intl Operations SA is responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, promoting employee wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with the Health Systems Key Elements and safety regulations at the assigned site.
Job Responsibility
Provide immediate first aid and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses
Provide medical input, oversight, and/or training for site emergency response team
Manage and administer employee health programs, including vaccinations, health screenings, and wellness initiatives
Provide health education and counseling to employees on various topics such as ergonomics, stress management, business travel, and chronic disease prevention
Develop and implement return-to-work programs for employees following illness or injury
Delivery of quality care via Health Services
Ensure the highest standards of medical ethics and confidentiality are maintained
Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records
Calibrate and maintain all medical equipment and devices
Collaborate with HS&E teams to identify and assess workplace hazards, implement preventive measures, and conduct accident investigations
Ensure a system is established to provide preventive and medical management of employees at risk for occupational infections
Promote behavioral health programs at the site
Ensure compliance with local and international occupational health and safety legislation and P&G corporate standards
Prepare and submit Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
Prepare and submit regular reports on occupational health activities, trends, and statistics to management
Advise management on occupational health issues
Day in day out responsibility for identifying, assessing and mitigating the risk
Conduct 1Line HSKE Assessments
Participate in Medical Emergency Response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity Planning
Maintain an active, unencumbered license and appropriate indemnity coverage
Maintain expertise in Occupational Health
Regularly meet with Manager and Sub-Regional Leader to discuss additional projects or responsibilities
Attend the Europe Medical Meetings
Requirements
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and valid license to practice as a nurse in the canton of Geneva (Droit de Pratique)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
Clinical experience required
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
Proficiency in first aid and emergency care procedures
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee health information with discretion
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in relevant computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, occupational health software)
Fluency in spoken and written English and the local language is required
Nice to have
Master's degree in occupational health or public health
Certification in Occupational Health Nursing or equivalent
