Job Description

As the Site Manager of our Yarrawonga grain storage and distribution facility, you will lead a team to ensure the safe, efficient receival, storage, and outload of commodities. This hands-on leadership role offers variety, autonomy, and a strong connection to both the land and local community. Bring your operational experience, strong leadership capability, and commitment to safety - and play a key role in keeping Australia's grain supply chain moving.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the team
  • coach and support development of team members
  • Get to know, understand and apply our enterprise agreement and people processes
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local community
  • Coordinate and prepare for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required services
  • Identify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards
  • Manage programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising, supporting and developing teams and individuals to achieve operational objectives
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands
  • Comfortable to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Holds a current unrestricted drivers licence with sound basic IT skills
