Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Site Manager to lead our Construction team for the project Chevena, near Pernik, Bulgaria.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise all on-site construction activities including civil works, mechanical installation, electrical works, and commissioning coordination
Ensure compliance with the project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams on-site
Monitor daily progress, track project milestones, and provide regular reporting to the project management office
Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to engineering drawings and technical specs
Identify and resolve any issues or delays affecting construction timelines
Lead daily toolbox talks and ensure proper implementation of safety procedures
Manage logistics of equipment delivery, storage, and installation
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to address technical issues during construction
Oversee site documentation including method statements, risk assessments, material approvals, and inspection reports
Act as the primary point of contact for site-related matters with contractors, local authorities, and consultants

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in site management, preferably with large-scale solar PV projects
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary construction teams and contractors
Strong understanding of solar PV construction methodologies, HSE, and QA/QC practices
Proficiency with MS Office, scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project), and site reporting
Knowledge of local regulations and permitting requirements related to renewable energy projects
