Job Responsibility

  • Operational Management: Oversee all site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards
  • Health & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, conducting regular safety briefings and risk assessments
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate site staff, subcontractors, and trade teams
  • Programme Delivery: Drive the project programme, effectively managing resources and resolving any on-site issues to meet deadlines
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure a high standard of finish
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, surveyors, and other key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on relevant construction projects - school refurbishments
  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
  • Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
  • Valid First Aid at Work certificate
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and relevant building regulations
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
