Job Description:

Join a forward-thinking construction team on a unique, sustainable project located just north of Adelaide. We are delivering a high-quality build that priorities environmental impact and innovative construction techniques. This is a fast-paced, 8-10 week contract for a Site Manager who is passionate about green building and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing all day-to-day operations and ensuring subcontractors adhere to the project timeline
  • Maintaining a gold-standard WHS environment and ensuring all environmental protocols are strictly followed
  • Oversight of sustainable materials and specialised build methods unique to this project
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for consultants, subcontractors, and the project team

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Site Manager within the Australian construction industry (Commercial or Residential)
  • Solid understanding of sustainable building practices or genuine interest in eco-friendly construction
  • Strong communication skills and the tough but fair attitude required to keep subs on track
  • Valid White Card
  • First Aid
  • Relevant building qualifications (Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction preferred)
  • Ideally based in Northern Adelaide or the Barossa region, or willing to commute

  • Organize any valuable action to prevent interruptions to erection activities, to reduce delays in work schedule, and bring costs back to budget levels
