Job Description:

Are you a Site Manager looking to lock in your summer schedule? We are currently recruiting for several Site Managers to oversee fast-paced school refurbishment projects across the North East (including Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, and Teesside). These are temporary contracts specifically tailored to the summer holiday window. If you enjoy high-intensity projects with a firm deadline and want to earn a competitive daily rate, we want to hear from you. Duration: July - September (Summer Break). Sector: Education / Internal Refurbishment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing subcontractors
  • ensuring strict health and safety compliance
  • hitting weekly milestones to ensure the school is ready for the September intake

Requirements:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS Black Card (Highly preferred) or Gold
  • First Aid at Work (3-day certificate)
  • A proven track record in school refurbs or fast-track commercial fit-outs is essential

Nice to have:

  • Establish and check reporting for Head Office and, according to the Project Manager’s directives, to Client
  • Organize any valuable action to prevent interruptions to erection activities, to reduce delays in work schedule, and bring costs back to budget levels
  • Prepare the Site final report
