A small tight knit builder with strong systems and a healthy pipeline of projects to come are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a $9m High End Apartment project in Essendon.

Job Responsibility

  • Operational Oversight: Direct all on-site activities from inception to completion, ensuring seamless project execution
  • Subcontractor Management: Lead and supervise diverse trades and site personnel to maintain high performance and accountability
  • Compliance & Safety: Uphold rigorous OH&S standards and ensure all government-mandated quality requirements are met
  • Program Delivery: Drive construction schedules, proactively resolve site-based issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved within budget
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for consultants, inspectors, and project stakeholders on site

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on Multi-Res & commercial projects
  • A strong understanding of project management from inception to completion
  • The ability to lead a site team, enforce safety standards, and maintain quality control
  • Experience using Construction related softwares such as Hammertech, Aconex, Visibuild
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Guarantee continuity between the completion of Construction and pre-commissioning to optimize Project schedule timing
  • Establish and check reporting for Head Office and, according to the Project Manager’s directives, to Client
  • Organize any valuable action to prevent interruptions to erection activities, to reduce delays in work schedule, and bring costs back to budget levels
