Job Description:

We're seeking a hands-on and experienced Site Manager to lead operations on a key project based in Cambridge. This is a 20-week fixed term contract with strong potential for extension, offering the chance to work on a high-quality build with a focus on precision and safety.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Monitor progress and report regularly to the Project Manager
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and progress updates
Conduct regular inspections and resolve site issues promptly
Ensure all works meet quality and specification standards

Requirements:

Proven track record as a Site Manager on construction projects
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cladding and roofing systems
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Experience in warehouse commercial & fit-out projects is advantageous

Nice to have:

Experience in warehouse commercial & fit-out projects
