We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join our Radiopharmacy team. Reporting into the head of Operations the Site Manager will be responsible for the management of all aspects of production and supply of Radiopharmaceutical products and be involved in future development & production of new Radiopharmaceutical products. The Site Manager ensures sufficient trained staff are available for the operation of cyclotron and production of radiopharmaceuticals for PET and SPECT imaging and liaises with customers and suppliers as necessary. The site Manager will also ensure the site is adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and works collaboratively with site Qualified Person (QP) to ensure full compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), as well as being responsible for compliance with radiation safety procedures and up time of plant production equipment. We are inviting applications from experienced Managers. To be considered for the role you must hold a BSc/MSc in a related scientific discipline and have significant leadership experience. Job Responsibility:
Management of all aspects of production and supply of Radiopharmaceutical products

Ensure sufficient trained staff are available for operation of cyclotron and production of radiopharmaceuticals for PET and SPECT imaging
Liaise with customers and suppliers

Requirements:
BSc/MSc in Physics, biomedical, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacy or related discipline
A high physics or chemistry qualification is preferred
Strong background in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing with a minimum of five years experience in this area, to include at least two years in a management capacity of senior scientific personnel
In depth knowledge of cGMP regulations and procedures as required by UK/EU regulatory authorities
Specific experience of PET radiopharmaceuticals production and associated facility management is an advantage
