Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate onsite project scope under direction of Project Manager
  • Coordinate between client site team and erector
  • Track deliveries
  • Track Field Change Notices
  • Report schedule progress
  • Main point of contact for all site meetings, scheduling, coordination, deliveries, and erector management
  • Understand project scope and communicate with erector, client, or other trades
  • Report issues, concerns, milestones, or incidents to project manager
  • Maintain delivery log and manage deliveries with shipping department
  • Prepare daily reports and track project progress
  • Document, track, and research fabrication errors, detailing errors, or erection issues
  • Coordinate corrections with involved parties
  • Track and understand design changes and revised drawings
  • Coordinate with site team
  • Track field work to correct change order number
  • Work overtime including weekends if required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with steel fabrication and/ or steel erection
  • Must be familiar with AISC and OSHA requirements
  • Must have proficient oral/written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, have the ability to learn new software used by specific clients
