Job Description:

As a Site Manager, you will oversee operating, controlling, and supervising the operation of the EDPR assets (PV plants, Wind Farms) in Poland. To direct the main contractors and to make sure the plans and guidelines established by the O&M Department are fulfilled, to achieve optimum exploitation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee operating, controlling, and supervising the operation of the EDPR assets (PV plants, Wind Farms) in Poland
  • Direct the main contractors and to make sure the plans and guidelines established by the O&M Department are fulfilled
  • Agree and authorize the work, coordinate the work of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Run the tasks required in the operation of substations, high and medium voltage lines and transformer station
  • Organize and assign daily maintenance of the plant
  • Perform monitoring reports maintenance and operation of the park
  • Send to remote office information about the availability status of this plant and coordinate with switching operations
  • Analyze incidents on the spot, locate service providers that can solve the problem
  • Organize daily maintenance, operation of the plant and assign daily tasks, monitor compliance with procedures and work standards
  • Check that equipment is in order, maintenance of vehicles, incidents
  • Act as an active part of the process of continuous improvement
  • Understand, implement and ensure compliance by subcontractors plans occupational safety, environment and quality
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of EMS (Environmental Management System based on ISO 14 001)
  • Participate in the evaluation of compliance with applicable requirements and environmental assessment
  • Collaborate with EMS Manager in the development of the goals and objectives of the country program
  • Analyze, record and encode communications as needed
  • Communicate to subcontractors' environmental requirements
  • Assist in the identification and registration of non-conformities, corrective and preventive actions
  • Promote compliance with good environmental practices at the sites
  • Ensure that waste management is carried out according to the applicable legal requirements and internal guidelines
  • Follow the actions specified in relation to the operational control of monitoring and measuring
  • Follow guidelines for emergency response and make them known to the staff

Requirements:

  • Higher Vocational Training Cycle (Electrical installations certification related to renewable energy systems)
  • Minimum 6 - 10 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 4 years in similar position, Site Manager – renewables sector
  • MS Office package
  • Familiarity with Polish energy sector regulations, EHS policies, Environmental policies and documentation standards is essential
  • English – medium to advanced level (working knowledge)
  • Polish – proficient
  • Teamwork
  • Well organized
  • Working under pressure

Nice to have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation/Control Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • SAP and Microsoft Dynamics user level
