In this role, you are responsible for the on-site management of wind turbine construction projects from delivery through commissioning. You work closely with project management as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-schedule execution. Your contribution is key to successful project delivery and compliance with all safety and technical requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Take full on-site responsibility for the construction site, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality execution from delivery to commissioning
Actively support the Project Manager in planning, site setup, execution, scheduling, cost control, and project reporting
Coordinate and supervise civil and electrical works, plan resources, and ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials
Act as the primary on-site contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Lead subcontractors, service providers, installation teams, crane operators, and transport companies, ensuring clear instructions and smooth workflows
Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and technical requirements, including risk management and proper documentation
Requirements:
Technician or master craftsman qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, a technical vocational training, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in construction site management, preferably in wind energy or comparable large-scale technical projects
Confident use of MS Office, ideally MS Project, and fluent English skills at least at B2 level according to CEFR, basic German (B1 level)
Structured, assertive, and solution-oriented working style with a high level of responsibility and strong teamwork skills
Willingness to travel mainly within Germany and occasionally to neighboring countries such as Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, or Luxembourg
Willingness to undertake multi‑week assignments on construction sites as well as regular Saturday work
