Job Description:

Site Logistics Engineer position supporting the M Renewables Division in Dublin, Ireland. The role involves overseeing on-site logistics operations for renewable energy projects, managing equipment deliveries, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and coordinate all on-site logistics operations during the construction phase of renewable energy projects
Plan and manage delivery schedules of main equipment and materials to site
Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Liaise with local suppliers, freight forwarders, and service providers
Verify quantity and quality of all materials received
Oversee unloading operations and report any discrepancies or damages
Maintain precise records of deliveries
Support site operations by ensuring the availability of materials and resources
Proactively identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and efficiencies
Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across all site logistics activities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in materials or logistics management within the construction industry
Experience in solar or renewable energy project logistics considered an advantage
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Familiarity with logistics management software is an advantage
Previous experience working on Irish construction or renewable energy projects is highly desirable

Nice to have:

Experience in solar or renewable energy project logistics
Familiarity with logistics management software
