Job Description

Site Logistics Engineer position supporting the M Renewables Division in Dublin, Ireland. The role involves overseeing on-site logistics operations for renewable energy projects, managing equipment deliveries, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site logistics operations during the construction phase of renewable energy projects
  • Plan and manage delivery schedules of main equipment and materials to site
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Liaise with local suppliers, freight forwarders, and service providers
  • Verify quantity and quality of all materials received
  • Oversee unloading operations and report any discrepancies or damages
  • Maintain precise records of deliveries
  • Support site operations by ensuring the availability of materials and resources
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and efficiencies
  • Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across all site logistics activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in materials or logistics management within the construction industry
  • Experience in solar or renewable energy project logistics considered an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with logistics management software is an advantage
  • Previous experience working on Irish construction or renewable energy projects is highly desirable
