Job Responsibility

Supervise daily cranes/heavy lift activities on site
Ensure all cranes & heavy lifting work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and safety regulations
Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and other discipline supervisors to ensure seamless workflow
Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment requirements to ensure timely completion of project milestones
Inspect rigging installations and conduct quality checks to ensure workmanship and materials meet project requirements
Prepare and maintain site reports, logs, and documentation related to mechanical work progress and issues

Requirements

University Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent
Heavy lifting certificate is mandatory
Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of Industrial sector/ EPC projects large petrochemical plants
Similar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size
Experience working on the Contractor side
Fluent English
Attention to detail, management skills
Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution

Job Responsibility

Prior to the start of work, to check the supplier’s material and technical documentation delivery schedule
Check that the same is in line with construction schedules and contractual commitments
Prior to the start of work, control and approve the method statements submitted by the subcontractors, ensuring their correct application on the field
He / she ensures the implementation of all the HSE procedures and standards for the areas or activities (subcontractors) of responsibilities
He / she directly participates to the HSE activities at site as defined for his position in the site HSE plan and related procedures
To check that the said schedule is kept to, and to promote action to recover any delay
To check that the equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor are adequate and that the works performed by the subcontractor conform to design documents, safety regulations, and to the quality level fixed by the same
Perform inspections and sign the necessary certificates as per site inspection plans
To prepare the non-conformity register for each subcontractor and coordinate nonconformity resolution
To detect any design errors, and where possible rectify the same or request the site engineer to make the necessary changes

High School Diploma
2+ years in tradeshow to include 1 year show floor experience
Valid driver’s license
3+ years forklift certification
Work a 40+ hour work week with OT and weekends
Ability to read basic building schematics and pull-lists
Ability to setup fabric graphics
Ability to use cell phone/computer software’s for submission expenses, payroll and travel
Ability to train and lead others
Effective oral and written communication skills
