We are looking for a Site Lifting Specialist. Work Scheme: Rotational 4 weeks ON and 4 weeks OFF. Duration: 24 months, extendable. Start date: First quarter of 2026.
Job Responsibility:
Act as technical advisor of handling and lifting operations on both the construction engineering phase and the construction at site. Advise and assist the Site Management in the planning, management, and control of lifting operation
Implement the supervision and control of lifting activities (technically and safety wise). The ultimate goal being that potential technical and safety risks that could harm or impede activities at the CPF2 site are well identified and that relevant mitigation plans developed to minimize these potential risks are correctly implemented
Participate to reviews of CTR’s JRAs related to lifting activities and ensure that these JRAs are duly implemented
Participate to Incident Investigation and Reporting related to site activities as directed by the H2SE Superintendent. Assist and participate to risk, operational safety and emergency preparedness reviews and analysis
Act as an example in all HSE aspects concerned by the PROJECT activities in the Site area (including surrounding communities areas)
Requirements:
Professional Lifting qualification at Diploma / Degree level minimum, e.g. LEEA (The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) / EAL / OPITO / CPA diploma/Certificate
Minimum 10 years working experience including previous experience in Lifting Supervisory role (Min 5 years) in highly hazardous industry, i.e., Construction, Oil & Gas with similar large-scale onshore Greenfield and brownfield project with a very good knowledge of COMPANY General Specifications, rules, procedures and International Codes and Standards
Good knowledge of Lifting legislation and international standards (BS, LOLER, etc.), including IOGP standards, onshore plant standards, ISO and Company referential framework (Rules, Specifications, Guides)
Ability to Supervise of critical lift, to plan of critical and non-critical lifts
Thorough understanding of onshore O&G plant construction methods (technical aspects and related safety risks)
Previous operational experience with similar stringency of Envionmental & Social requirements and complexity
Significant experiences in risk assessment techniques (Hazop, Hazan, Fault Tree, What if, etc...)
Ability to determine the potential worst case scenarios in order to assess the realistic level of risk. Identify appropriate controls and risk reducing measures
