Job Description

This is a high-impact role for a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives on driving performance, elevating teams, and creating a culture where safety, quality, and operational excellence come first. The Site Leader is responsible for the overall performance, culture, and strategic direction of the Pocomoke manufacturing facility within the Laboratory Consumables business. This high-impact role holds full accountability for Safety, Quality, and On-Time Delivery (OTD) while championing the deployment and sustainment of the ATS Business Model (ABM) as the site's operating system.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead Safety, Quality & Delivery Performance

  • Hold team members accountable for health, safety and environmental compliance
  • Ensure that the requirements of the health, safety and environment management system are implemented and maintained
  • Carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits
  • Ensure that training is provided
  • Implement appropriate corrective measures for unsafe conditions and unsafe acts
  • Ensure that appropriate equipment, materials and protective devices are provided and maintained in safe condition
  • Provide information, instruction and supervision to employees
  • Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of employees

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading a manufacturing site or a large operational organization
  • Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, and delivery performance
  • Experience deploying lean manufacturing and structured continuous improvement systems

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS)
  • Experience in life sciences, medical devices, or consumables manufacturing
  • Strong business and analytical skills, including KPI management and performance reporting
