JOB OPPORTUNITY: Site Labourer - Crawley. Randstad is currently seeking a reliable and committed Site Labourer for a major long-term project in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stability, offering 18 months of ongoing work. Start Date: ASAP. Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday) - potential for night shift work and weekend work. Duration: 18 Months.

Job Responsibility:

General Site Maintenance: Keeping all areas of the site clean, tidy, and safe
Material Handling: Assisting with the delivery and movement of heavy materials and supplies across the site
Assisting Trades: Supporting skilled tradespeople (carpenters, bricklayers, etc.) as required
Waste Management: Clearing debris and loading skips to maintain site safety standards
Site Security: Assisting with the movement of fencing and signage

Requirements:

CSCS Card: A valid and in-date card is essential
Full PPE: Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, and steel-toed boots
Driving License: Must be able to drive and have your own transport
Right to Work: Valid documentation to work in the UK
References: Must provide two professional finishing references from previous site roles
Work History: An up-to-date CV covering the past 5 years of employment with no gaps

Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and hazard-free site to comply with OHSA guidelines
Safety Compliance: Follow Maltese construction safety standards, including wearing PPE
Waste Management: Segregate and dispose of construction waste according to local environmental regulations
Reporting: Immediately report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the Site Supervisor
