The Site Installation Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of modular installation on site. This role ensures seamless alignment and schedule execution between shop integration of Off-Site Modules - OSM and on-site installation of those modules. Will need general knowledge of steel structures, prefabrication, logistics, mechanical, plumbing and electrical trade partners, and field installation to deliver high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective results. The Site Installation Integration Superintendent works closely with project managers, engineers, trade partners, and clients to identify risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure efficient execution of work.
Job Responsibility:
Lead day-to-day integration of offsite and onsite manufacturing and construction activities
Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure alignment across disciplines
Coordinate and develop detailed plans and schedules to execute module installation on site
Oversee the installation of prefabricated Off-Site Modularization assemblies and integrated systems
Ensure all work is performed safely, according to project requirements, and in compliance with codes and standards
Monitor progress and provide clear directions to subcontractors and trade partners
Manage relationships with trade partners to ensure alignment with project goals and schedule
Hold trade partners accountable for schedule commitments, quality, and safety
Lead coordination meetings to resolve scope conflicts and maintain workflow continuity
Develop, maintain, and update installation schedules
Coordinate with project managers and trade partners to sequence work effectively
Track progress against the schedule, identify potential delays, and implement recovery plans as needed
Facilitate communication between engineering, modular/offsite manufacturing, logistics, trade partners, and site operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related issues on the jobsite
Provide clear and consistent reporting on progress, challenges, and milestones
Enforce company and project safety policies, promoting a safe work culture
Verify that installed work meets quality requirements and design intent
Conduct inspections and oversee testing and commissioning activities as required
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in construction supervision
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, prefabrication, and trade partner management
General experience with structural steel, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical scopes
Experience in developing schedules, two week look-a-heads and managing these project timelines
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and trade partners
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Experience with construction safety requirement including OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
