Job Responsibility:
Conduct regular site visits to assess property conditions, identify hazards, and report maintenance issues
Carry out fire door inspections in compliance with fire safety regulations, documenting findings and necessary remedial actions
Perform mid-term tenancy inspections, checking property condition, tenant compliance, and ensuring safety standards are upheld
Complete health and safety inspections, including fire risk management, emergency lighting checks, and other compliance-related audits
Identify, document, and escalate issues related to fire safety, security, damp/mould, and general property condition
Liaise with contractors, property managers, and safety teams to ensure remedial actions are taken efficiently
Maintain detailed reports and records for compliance tracking and audit purposes
Provide clear recommendations for improvements and follow up on outstanding actions
Assist with compliance documentation and regulatory reporting where necessary
Requirements:
Previous experience in property inspections, fire safety assessments, or building compliance is desirable
Knowledge of fire safety regulations, building safety compliance, and lettings standards is an advantage
Fire Door Inspection certification (or willingness to obtain it) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and report safety risks effectively
Excellent communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to multiple sites across an agreed region
