Job Description:

Our client is a design-led and commercially disciplined construction organisation that has assembled a highly skilled Tier 1–experienced delivery team for major high?rise and mixed?use projects on the Gold Coast. You will join an experienced site and project management team and play a key role in delivering a large, complex build with precision, safety, and leadership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Monitoring and managing the workflow, schedules and budgets of construction projects
  • Communicating effectively with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues
  • Overseeing the quality of work and addressing any defects or problems that arise
  • Mentoring and developing the skills of the construction team
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each project

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar supervisory role in the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and leadership skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical drawings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and liaise with clients
  • Proficiency in using construction management software and tools
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering or a related field
