Site Engineer

• Undertake core engineering duties with high precision, utilizing drawings, specifications, GPS, and Leica TS16 Total Station equipment
• Carry out surveying, as-built checks, and dimensional control to ensure strict compliance with technical standards
• Deliver diverse external civil packages including roads, drainage, pavements, kerbs, and piling interfaces
• Coordinate concrete works and steel frame interfaces essential for substation structures
• Interpret and apply technical drawings and digital models
• Utilize digital construction systems (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud - ACC) and support basic AutoCAD/model interpretation tasks
• Prepare and review QA documentation, including ITPs, RAMS, and task briefing sheets
• Maintain meticulous compliance records and oversee the full cycle of tasks from site setup through to handover
• Liaise daily with subcontractors, supervisors, and the management team to ensure seamless productivity
• Assist the Site Manager with logistics, planning, and pre-construction tasks

• Proven experience in site engineering and setting out on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Leica TS16 and GPS equipment is essential
• Strong knowledge of construction processes including drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concrete
• Education: Degree, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) is highly advantageous
• Certification: Valid CSCS Card is mandatory
• IT Skills: Comfortable using digital engineering tools and basic AutoCAD
• Attributes: A strong communicator who is proactive, safety-conscious, and committed to high-quality delivery

Familiarity with the energy sector is advantageous but not essential
