Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Track Site Engineer to support the delivery and commissioning of track construction and maintenance works throughout central Queensland. An ability to deliver within tight rail possession / occupation windows is essential.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the delivery of track construction and maintenance works, including site inspections and track walkouts
  • Assist with reviewing work packs, monitoring daily progress, and ensuring methodologies and safety requirements are followed
  • Provide onsite engineering support during possessions/occupations and escalate issues to senior engineers, PMs or supervisors
  • Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to resolve technical queries and maintain works on schedule and within resources
  • Contribute to safety documentation, risk assessments, and reporting of hazards or improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • At least 1 year on rail track construction projects
  • RIW Card
  • Drivers licence

Nice to have

Statement of Competency with QR, ARTC, MTM, Vline or Sydney Trains
