Job Description:

As the Site Controller Flavours, you will provide appropriate financial support to the Head of Operations for the performance management, budget management and internal controls. Moreover you will assist the Regional Operations Controller to issue all needed reports and analysis for Regional and General Management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the site management in the development and analysis of business plans, forecasts, cost savings opportunities, etc. associated with the months-end financial close
  • Support the management in strategic decision making
  • Provide overall financial support in special projects
  • Oversee several manufacturing facilities (Pune, Daman, Roha)
  • Perform ad-hoc and pro-active analysis of the monthly KPIs and provide the management with interpretive and predictive information for decision making
  • Provide analyses and interpretation of financial information to various functional management and stakeholders
  • Review the analysis of the sites cost and identify variances vs. budget, last year and outlook
  • Pro-actively drive and recommend corrective actions
  • Participate in forecasting and mid-to long term planning for the factory
  • Manage annual and periodic requirements of costing activities and analysis of COGS
  • Provide detailed product costing analysis and supports management in the evaluation of product costs
  • Manage and coordinate the annual budget process for the site
  • Work closely with the site and area management and help them to improve key performance indicators
  • Contribute as an active member in site projects and initiatives that drive process/cost improvements
  • Attend and actively participate in site operations meetings and provide finance support/action where required

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or similar Controlling qualification
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in controlling in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of costing processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Structured analytical thinking
  • Strong financial background (budgeting process, reporting, financial analysis, controlling, accounting)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to integrate in complex teams within a matrix organization
  • SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills

Nice to have:

  • Proven team leader skill is an advantage
  • Dutch and French are an advantage
