Job Description:

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Construction Surveyor who will report directly to the Director of Survey and 3D Modeling. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to follow proper procedures, perform accurate calculations, and work seamlessly in a team-based environment. The Construction Surveyor will primarily focus on performing topography, construction stakeout, and as-built & control surveys using both conventional and GPS methods.

Job Responsibility:

  • Stakeout all aspects of site projects
  • Support site crews and GPS systems
  • Perform office computations for stakeout
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a construction layout surveyor with a strong focus on quality.
  • Proficient with both GPS and conventional robotic systems (experience with Trimble equipment a plus).
  • Strong technical skills, diligence, and knowledge of construction drawings (building and site).
  • Ability to perform basic computer skills utilizing MS Office and various software tools (Trimble Business Center a plus).
  • Willing to work safely and follow all safety rules.
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrains in a wide range of weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50lbs.
  • Initiative-taking and able to work independently, meeting necessary deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license.
