Job Description:

We are looking for an entry-to-mid-level Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our expanding clearing team within our Civil Division. Based in York, PA, this role involves driving various CDL construction vehicles throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating heavy equipment to assist with clearing operations as needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely transport materials with log trailers, dump trailers, and walking floor trailers
  • Operate roll-off trucks for efficient item transport
  • Load, secure, and tie down materials & equipment as needed
  • Move heavy equipment using lowboy trucks and tag-along trailers
  • Assist with unloading of equipment when required
  • Support the team with general labor duties when needed
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older to apply due to out-of-state travel requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Must be able to work out of town
  • Experienced with manual transmission operation
  • Strong understanding of DOT standards and regulations
  • Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Dependable, reliable, and a strong team player
  • Willing to work overtime, including weekends, when necessary

Nice to have:

Experience with sweeper trucks, dump trailers, lowboys, excavators, track loaders, haul trucks, or other heavy equipment is a plus
