Job Description

Your role will encompass studies and understanding each project’s design, conducting on-site investigations, carrying out technical and feasibility studies, reporting progress, maintaining supplier databases, monitoring progress, assessing risks, complying with regulations, supervising subcontractors, implementing quality control, and supporting H&S procedures.

Job Responsibility

  • Studies and understands each project’s design provided by the engineering headquarters
  • Conducts on site investigations and analyses data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
  • Reporting daily and weekly progress to the Lead Civil Engineer
  • Creates and maintains a database of local suppliers for consumables and tools
  • Maintains a record of all requested consumables and tools
  • Monitors progress and compiles reports in project status
  • Assesses potential risks, materials, and costs Monitors the stock of construction materials and manages purchase equipment/materials
  • Complies with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver. technical files and other technical documentation as required
  • Supervises and supports subcontractor activities and compliance to the design as well as communicates the respective design changes to them
  • Implements the project quality control program
  • Overviews each subcontractor’s installation work quality and the precision to the design
  • General supervision of Civil activities and coordination with Site Manager, Lead Civil Engineer, and other stakeholders
  • Evaluates construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans according to experience
  • Supports the implementation of corporate H&S procedures

Requirements

  • University or Technical Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience
  • Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage
  • Technical proficiency
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent command of the English and Bulgarian Languages
  • Able to work in a cold/hot environment
  • Know to operate in Microsoft office environment is required (Word, Excel)
  • Advanced use of AutoCAD software
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to relocate to the project site

Experience in energy projects is considered an advantage
