Job Description:

Site & Project Engineers | Major Road & Bridge Projects | Regional SA. Are you a Site or Project Engineer looking for a high-impact contract with a global leader? We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Contractor to deliver essential infrastructure across Regional South Australia. Our client holds the highest possible industry accreditations (R5/B4), specialising in complex freeway interchanges and major bridge structures. This is an opportunity to work on DIT (Department for Infrastructure and Transport) projects with a company that manages the entire project lifecycle, from asphalt production to long-term maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee site activities for major roadworks, earthworks and drainage
  • Ensure all works comply with DIT standards and technical specifications
  • Manage subcontractors and site labour to maintain the project schedule
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate site records and reporting
  • Promote a strict safety culture in line with Tier 1 requirements

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Site or Project Engineer within the Australian civil construction sector
  • Solid understanding of road pavements, bulk earthworks, or bridge structures
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in regional environments
  • A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and full working rights in Australia

Nice to have:

Previous experience on DIT projects is highly regarded
