We are a leading organisation within the testing, inspection, and certification industry, supporting businesses in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. As part of our growing gas analysis and environmental testing services, we are seeking Site Analytical Engineers to join our field-based team across the Munster region. These are full-time, permanent roles reporting to a Field Service Supervisor. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem solving, and working independently. Full training will be provided, offering a strong pathway for career development in a specialised and in-demand sector.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop a strong understanding of process gas testing, customer requirements, and industry standards
  • Become fully trained in internal procedures, testing methodologies, and analytical techniques
  • Travel to client sites to carry out gas analysis testing and collect samples for laboratory analysis
  • Service, calibrate, and troubleshoot gas analysis equipment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients
  • Complete accurate, high-quality testing and service reports
  • Follow strict data integrity procedures and comply with recognised international standards (including ISO frameworks)
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying root causes and contributing to quality processes
  • Maintain a proactive and professional approach in line with organisational values

Requirements

  • A third-level qualification in a relevant field, or at least 2 years’ experience in a technical, mechanical, scientific, or field-based role
  • Full driving licence
