You’ll be joining our Civils projects team working in the East of England - We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead associated site team including M Group supervision and subcontractors to successful completion of works
  • Be responsible for managing change on site in line with the NEC contract conditions
  • Monitor site activities against target programmes reporting exceptions in outputs, delays etc
  • Ensure all works activities meet the Works Specification and are being delivered in a safe manner following the principles of our behavioural based safety initiative, It Starts With Me
  • Attend client meetings to provide them with a delivery update and manage any adverse issues

Requirements:

  • A good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks
  • drainage and structures in a highways environment
  • A good level of commercial acumen to facilitate cost control
  • Effective team management, leadership and influencing skills to get the best from everyone
  • Excellent customer skills and the ability to work collaboratively in all situations
  • The ability to remain flexible in your approach to the role whilst embracing change and helping to manage the change process
