Job Description:

You will be part of our Energy team, assisting with the delivery of renewable energy projects in a Civils based environment throughout Scotland. You will be responsible for the overall management of your assigned project, reporting into the Project Manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive the commercial performance of the contract
  • Responsible for successful project delivery, ensuring timelines, quality and safety standards are met
  • Deliver works safely, preventing Environmental incidents
  • Maintain specified quality standards without defects
  • Produce and implement project plans, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans
  • Create and manage project programmes
  • Responsible for procurement schedules and collaboration with the procurement team to secure resources efficiently
  • Management and development of the engineering team
  • Represent the business to clients, stakeholders and the public
  • Ensure final deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to populate, manage and optimise project cost plans
  • Maximize project value
  • Maintain accurate and detailed site records and diaries
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and challenge existing processes for continuous improvement
  • Produce clear, accurate monthly reports for both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Chair weekly site meetings

Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Manager card
  • Full driving licence
  • Full First Aid certified
  • Qualified to degree level in civil engineering or HNC / HND
  • Model the right behaviours and foster a culture aligned with Story’s values and behaviours framework
  • CAT and Genny trained

Nice to have:

SMSTS 5 Day Site Safety certified (training can be provided)
