Job Description:

At Punter Southall SIPP our aim is to maintain a high-quality administration service both in the Pension Accumulation and Decumulation phases, delivering exceptional service and support to our clients. We are looking for an experienced and detail orientated SIPP and SSAS Support Administrator to join our team. What does a SIPP and SSAS Support Administrator do? You will be responsible for setting up new business applications, preparing important correspondence for all our clients. You will also maintain up-to-date electronic records, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your attention to detail will be crucial in managing bank balance reconciliations, creating invoices, handling payroll, and ensuring compliance with VAT and tax relief processes. By building strong relationships with partners and coordinating with regulatory bodies, you will play an integral role in our mission.

Job Responsibility:

  • Opening the post and distribution to team members based in the Edinburgh office
  • Print, copy and post documents for team members based in the Edinburgh office
  • Answer team calls and redirect to team members/take messages for call backs accordingly
  • Set up new business applications, to include opening bank accounts via the iSite platform, Platinum data inputting, sending transfer forms to other providers
  • Complete and issue Wake Up and Investment Pathway letters
  • Complete and issue SIPP review packs, including drawdown quotes
  • Complete SIPP and SSAS GAD reviews
  • Create mail merges from data within Platinum for pre-prepared mailers
  • issue letters generated
  • Utilising relationships with inter-company and external professional connections, including accountants and financial advisers
  • Daily creation of payments using the Bank of Scotland’s iSite and Corporate Banking Online systems
  • Liaising with regulators bodies where required, such as HMRC and The Pensions Regulator
  • Ensure that the electronic filing and Platinum records are up to date with member details and all relevant policy information
  • Follow workflow processes via SharePoint

Requirements:

  • Strong administration experience from within the financial services sector would be preferable
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal & external clients in a variety of mediums including in writing, face to face and verbally over the phone
  • Ability to recognise when to escalate/refer client issues/queries to line management or consultant or principal

  • Familiarisation of the following systems an advantage: Delta’s Platinum and Report~Pro systems
  • Bank of Scotland’s iSite and Corporate Banking Online platforms
  • Microsoft SharePoint
