Simulation Visual Modeller

• Develop and maintain low-polygon, textured 3D models for use in Kongsberg Polaris and K-SIM simulation systems
• Create, modify and maintain Electronic Navigation Charts (ENC) and associated geospatial datasets including bathymetric and tidal data
• Ensure models and datasets are accurately documented, version controlled and maintained to reflect real-world conditions
• Collaborate with internal teams and commercial clients to deliver high-quality simulation environments within agreed timeframes
• Support the day-to-day operational needs of the Centre for Maritime Simulations as required

• Relevant tertiary qualification in 3D Modelling, CAD, Geospatial Science, Computer Graphics, or a related discipline
• or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
• Demonstrated experience in CAD, 3D modelling and texturing (e.g., Blender, AutoCAD or similar)
• Intermediate programming skills (e.g., Python, Ruby, PowerShell)
• A good working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) principles. Including LLMs and the use of AI Agents

• Experience working with GIS systems and understanding of datums and projections would be desirable
• Experience producing or modifying Electronic Navigation Charts (ENC) would be desirable
