Job Responsibility:
Analyze and modify existing simulation scripts to model autonomous vehicle behavior
Work on driving scenarios involving pedestrians, traffic, and complex environments
Use simulation tools (e.g. Applied Intuition / Matlab-Simulink) to evaluate vehicle responses
Assess simulated behaviors with a strong focus on safety, robustness, and realism
Identify unexpected or unsafe behaviors and contribute to corrective solutions
Develop and adapt Python scripts for simulation and analysis in a Linux environment
Collaborate with software, system, and safety teams in an agile and iterative context
Support validation and safety-related activities through scenario-based testing
Document findings, assumptions, and simulation results
Requirements:
BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
Experience in vehicle simulation, ADAS, or autonomous driving environments (junior to advanced profiles welcome)
Safety-related experience is required (simulation, validation, testing, or behavior analysis)
Good development experience in Python within a Linux environment
Familiarity with simulation tools such as Applied Intuition, Matlab/Simulink, or equivalent
Strong interest in autonomous systems and vehicle behavior
Experience or strong exposure to ADAS or autonomous driving environments
Safety-related experience (simulation, validation, testing, or system behavior analysis)
Understanding of vehicle behavior in complex environments
Ability to understand and modify existing scripts or models
Hands-on experience in Python
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn
Ability to work in cross-functional technical teams
Nice to have:
Experience with Applied Intuition
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
Exposure to autonomous vehicle validation or verification activities
Experience with edge cases or safety-critical scenarios
Awareness of automotive safety standards or processes
Experience in industrial or automotive project environments
Experience in international or multicultural teams
