Job Description:

The Simulation Specialist provides operational support to the Interprofessional Simulation Program. The Simulation Specialist collaborates with various stakeholders, faculty and staff to perform activities related to the scheduling, implementation, and maintenance of the simulation program.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association (required)
  • CHSOS - Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist - SSH - Society for Simulation in Healthcare within 36 months of hire or transfer into position (required)
  • Minimum one (1) year Related experience (required)
  • Experience with simulation technology such as Laerdal and Gaumard preferred
  • Experience in academic medicine, research, health sciences environment or higher education setting preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Nice to have:

  • College Degree - 4 year in related field preferred
