You'll join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in a high-priority R&T project inside the Air Supply Systems department, working with experts on advanced aircraft concept exploration and cutting-edge systems technologies. The primary goal is to design, simulate, and validate the cooling systems for innovative high-density aircraft systems, such as next-generation power electronics, auxiliary power units, or highly integrated propulsion elements relevant to the new aircraft’s architecture.
Job Responsibility:
Developing, running, and analyzing complex multi-physics simulations to evaluate performance, trade-offs, and feasibility of various R&T design proposals
Supporting the transition of promising R&T concepts into concrete, scalable system designs ready for ground testing and future industrialization
To continue developing and refining multi-physics R&T models for main components of complex aircraft thermal management and cooling systems
Run extensive simulations and parametric studies to evaluate the performance of novel component designs under various flight scenarios and operational conditions
To support the overall system design and integration strategy, from initial R&T architecture definition and feasibility studies up to the preparation of demonstrator testing
To provide data-driven recommendations on cooling system architecture that optimize for weight, efficiency, and reliability in a new aircraft configuration
